Torn, stretched bladder, and pelvic supports may require surgery for long-term solution of stress incontinence, and pelvic prolapse.  Many women fear the pain and recovery of surgery and are reluctant to explore this option.  Several of today's procedures are more simple and less invasive than those used in the past.

Minimally invasive surgical options, including the TVT Tension-free Vaginal Tape system, is appropriate for women with stress incontinence.  This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia and takes about half an hour to complete.  Women who undergo this procedure return home several hours after surgery and have a short recovery period with minimal scarring.

To date, more than 20,000 women worldwide have been treated with the TVT system.  Clinical studies have demonstrated an 86% cure rate.  Improvement is immediate with proven long-term results.

We also provide minimally invasive, long lasting surgical techniques for the correction of pelvic prolapse, including use of the new mesh procedure when indicated.

The best way to determine if you are a candidate for this procedure is to consult your doctor.
