Physicians	Midwives

Midwives offer women special skills and an understanding of their unique physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Nurse-midwifery care focuses on maintaining health and encouraging women to make informed decisions about their health care. Our Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNM) are registered nurses who have graduated from an accredited American College of Nurse Midwives program and are nationally certified.  CNMs are caring individuals trained and experienced in prenatal, postpartum and normal newborn care, and who attend women during labor and delivery.  They also provide routine gynecological care and family planning care throughout a women's childbearing years.  All of these services are supported by our physicians and the modern health care facilities of our offices. 	Barbro Noren, CNM graduated as an RN from Saint Gorans School of Nursing, Stockholm, Sweden, and from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, Newark, NJ as a Certified Nurse Midwife.  Barbro "became a midwife to be able to help women trust and believe in  their own bodies.  And incidentally, I happen to love babies."
	Gail Ludwig, CNM graduated from The Nursing School of Wilmington in Delaware as an RN, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as a Certified Nurse Midwife. She has delivered over 1,100 babies!
