Childbearing is a normal part of life but a pregnant woman does need professional guidance and support.  Care includes advice on how to achieve optimal health before and  after pregnancy, how to minimize risks and screening for potential problems. 
                                    

With guidance, assistance and understanding pregnancy and birth can be made even healthier and more joyful. 

Within the setting of a birthing suite, we approach birth as a celebration of a new life, an event that belongs to a family, not a medical system.  Parents are allowed and indeed expected to take part in all decisions relating to the birth of their child.
